Essential grid overly from front side

Hello,
Im using essential grid on my website and i need to set up subtle gray overlay with white text in the center - all of this from front side of grid - with some opacity (point is picture on the grid is visible, but has grey overlay and one big title in the middle). Can you give some advice, please? Thank you.

The essential grid uses skins. You can apply different skin which has different overlay effects. You can check out the examples from their site: https://essential.themepunch.com/#examples
