Essential Grid not working in IE11

Hey,

So, I am running into a weird problem, wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I am using the essential grid plugin to display custom post types, which works with edge, firefox, and chrome without any problem.

The problem is when I view the site in IE11. For some reason, one of the pages that has the essential grid, shows the grid, but the revslider stops working, then on another page, the revslider works just fine, but the essential grid is not showing up. I have inspected element and looked to see if there were any javascript errors, but I couldn’t see anything.

Does anyone know what might be going on?

Thanks!

Hey Brian,

This sounds like a script conflict. Please try testing the solutions provided by ThemePunch in Troubleshooting Tips for 5.0+.

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried those but it doesn’t seem to fix it. Honestly, the biggest issue isn’t the slider, but it’s the essential grid.

On the page where the grid displays, the slider will appear for a second, then all the layers will go blank and the grid will show, on the page where the grid doesn’t load the slider is fine and the grid just shows the spinner for forever - even when I remove the slider from the page, it still wont load.

Edit: I’ve even tried disabling the revslider plugin and the essential grid still doesn’t show.

Hi @michigancreative,

In that case, would you mind providing the URLs that have this issue? I like to test it too, may I can find something.

Thanks!

I sure can.

Edit: So, as I was waiting, I was playing around with the default image size, and when I made it smaller, it started to work in IE11 again… and now it seems whether the slider shows text or not is completely random, sometimes it works on refresh, sometimes it doesnt

Hi @michigancreative

I’ve checked your website on IE11 and this is how I can see both pages:

I can see both the slider and the grid are loading fine, could this be a caching issue? I suggest clearing the browser cache and recheck this issue, also if you have any caching plugin installed on your site make sure to purge the cache from there as well.

Thanks.
