Essential Grid not working - disappears from page

I had a gallery - fully functioning. Suddenly all my gallery items are not showing.
I tried to rebuild, but I can’t even grab the essential grid component and add it to the page. So I copied a page that was working, and changed it so the component would show up in editor mode.

Changed the essential grid to my gallery, saved and it worked.
Went back to it 10mins later and its disappeared and again I have no option to add it to the page.

Whats going on??

Update - I think I have 2 separate issues.
1 Issue - can’t get/find the Essential Grid in xtheme (drag drop feature)
2nd issue - my Gallery is reverting to this

I have no idea why.

3rd update, by changing the Gallery to have a parent:

to this: https://www.greatstairs.com/homepage/gallery/
The page appears and works!

However, the link shouldn’t be that way. What is going on with this?

Hello Ashley,

You have this:

The Gallery page with the page slug of gallery is a child page of your Home page. You also have a category named “Gallery” which has a category slug gallery. There is a slug conflict already there. Always remember that each slug should be unique to avoid any link conflict.

I would recommend that you should change the slug of your page to galleries

Hey @ruenel - thanks for looking into this. I knew it was likely going to be something stupid that threw this error.
I have no idea where that Gallery category came from, which is super annoying.

Anyway, I’m probably going to get another easy answer - but where is the essential grid in the tools? I used to be able to call for it within the search bar of the drag drop of Cornerstone.

Hello Ashley,

If you are not using the Gallery category, please go to Posts > Categories and delete the “Gallery” category.

Please go to Cornerstone > Settings > Permissions > Administrator > Elements and make sure that “All Classic Elements” is enabled so that you will be able to drag and drop the Classic Ess. Grid element in the builder.
