I’m not sure how to get my Essential grid to display posts in the different categories. I have them selected, and for some reason they don’t show. Is there a setting that I’m missing that I don’t know about?

If the Source and Filter setup are correct, there could be a plugin or custom code overriding the query of posts of the grid.
With that said and if you haven’t done so yet, please do the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.
- TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
- TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
- THEME UPDATE
- CHILD THEME
- CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
- VERSION COMPATIBILITY
Only if none of those help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.
- Page URL where your grid can be found
- If you have multiple grids, please post the name of the grid
- WordPress Login URL
- Admin level username and password

I have investigated your issue. It turns out that if you do not include the “Know the Stats” category, the other post items will display. This means that you may have inserted a broken code in one of your posts which affects the grid. I would highly recommend that you check out “Arguments Pertaining to Systemic Racism” post and make sure that there are no broken code in that post. You may create another post as well and see if it displays on the grid.

Interesting. It was made in the Block editor for WP. Not sure why there’d be an issue with it.

A code from the WP editor may have caused a conflict in the grid. Please test or create another post by using Cornerstone or the WP Editor with a few texts in it and see if it will display.
