Essential Grid not showing all Post Categories Item in Grid Setting & Nav-Filter-Sort

I have this Post Category setup, but somehow not all category items are listed inside the Grid setting page. For instance english & france category item was not listed inside. Thanks & appreciate your help in advance.

In order to help you with your concern, we need to check your settings. I would request you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details meanwhile you must troubleshoot common issue before we investigate your settings.

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin level username and password
• Exact Post Grid

I’ve discovered that it was the nature behavior of the query, whereby not all empty category will be listed. For above scenario cat-france & cat-english category will not be listed because it was the last child item of the category hierarchy and yet it doesn’t associated with any post. Whereby cat-teacher & cat-language will be listed because it has immediate child category associated.

Therefore is it a bug or by design?

Hello Kenny,

Yes, it is the default nature of the Essential grid, it doesn’t list the empty category in the list to filter the post from it. Please note it is not a bug, glad that you were able to check it by yourself.
