Essential grid not showing all pages as a source

Hi, it seems I can’t get all the pages listed as the source for Essential grid. WP , themes and plugins are updated.

I tried to add some additional pages to the grid, but the first strange thing was that the old pages that were visible on the front-end were not even on the list of the added pages in the EG settings. The second strange thing is that when I click the add (+) button, I get just a portion of all of the pages listed.

I disabled cache plugins, I also played a bit with maximum posts and maximum posts preview settings, but the only thing I achieved is that now I don’t even see the old pages in the front-end grid - it’s completely empty (the moment I saved the grid with different maximum posts and maximum posts preview setting, the grid was empty on the front-end). This is not too bad as long as I’d be able to add pages back to the grid, but I can’t.

I don’t have any clue what could be wrong.

Found the solution, but to me it’s f…ing stupid logic

In case there’s someone with a similar problem:
The pages I tried to add to the grid were public subpages of the private parent. When I published the parent, those subpages become available for selection.
