Essential Grid multiple filters not closing on mobile

We have a site using Essential Grid with three filters. On desktop the filter dropdowns close when another filter is selected, but on mobile they remain open. If I use the Inpector in Chrome to emulate a phone, they remain working as they would on the.desktop width. However, as soon as I refresh they exhibit this behavior. Is there something going on in Pro that would change how these work when freshly loaded at mobile sizes?

Essential Grid says that they cannot reproduce this on their test server.

Hello @501creative,

Thank you for the inquiry.

We tried logging into the site, but the password seems to be incorrect. We’ll try to check the issue, but please keep in mind that we don’t usually provide support for third-party tools, as outlined in our support policy. We’ll still try to help, but for setup, integration, or further troubleshooting, please make sure to contact the original developer.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Ismael

Sorry about that. I spun off the site to a dev environment and crated the user again. Tested to make sure it works. New creds in the secure not.

I havew been in contact with the developer and they confirm that this behavior does not occur on site not using Pro as a theme. They suggested I reach out to you. They also have access to the site and are looking.

Something I noticed yesterday was that the dropdowns do close when clicking another on the desktop. If I emulate a phone using Inspector they still work that way. However, when I refresh in a mobile view or load the site directly as mobile then they fail to close.

Thank you for the update.

What happens when you set the “Nav-Filter-Sort” > “Dropdown Elements on” setting of the filters to “Hover” instead of “Click”? Looks like you have to tap outside of the filter buttons again to toggle the active dropdown. The active dropdown doesn’t automatically close when you click on another filter button. Unfortunately, we’re not sure why this happens in mobile view. Please stay in touch with the plugin developers.

I tried switching to hover and saw the change at desktop view. However, at mobile we have the same behavior. Perhaps because mobile doesn’t have a hover state the plugin switches to click automatically.I will pass this information on to them.

Hi again,

Yes sure, do update us if you need any further assistance.

Cheers!
