Essential Grid layer hyper linking

Hi,

I have followed the instructions from https://www.themepunch.com/faq/hyperlinking-options/#link-meta to link a layer to a url.

each panel within the grid will have a different link.

the Augist 17th event on https://command-shift.com/burl/events/ looks to the Facebook event but the soundcloud layer which should lin k to the soundcloud account for the artist also links to the Facebook event page

Any help his greatly appreciated.

Hi There,

Please edit your soundcloud layer, on the Link/Seo tab, you have to setup like this screenshot below:

After that add the soundcloud URL on this field of your custom grid items:

Hi Thai,

I had tried the and have set it up again this way but it still links to the Facebook event that is part in the “Itme Settings” Link To: instead of the soundcloud link.

Could the Items settings be over riding the custom meta?

Hi @Brent-St

You will have to create a custom meta link to the “Facebook Event” as well, do the same steps you made for the SoundCloud button and you will get both working fine.

The thing is when you set the post link to the Facebook event, all the links on that grid item will link to the post link.
