Essential grid item alignment

Hi

Please look at the bottom of this page: https://ifaa.designbythinkdev.co.za/new-agenda/ where you can see a feed of ‘New Agenda’ publications that’s been set up using Essential Grid. You’ll see that the bottom row aligns strangely.

How can I left align those last two items? I’ve tried all alignment options in Essential Grid and on the New Agenda page.

It will be very difficult to understand the problem without investigating it from the WordPress admin dashboard. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

You are having the issue because the New Agenda Issue 76 image is 931x 1296 which is different from the other. You will have to edit the image and change the height to at least 1190 because that is the height of the rest of the images.

I removed the shadow from the item skin item and now all the posts are aligned correctly. I did not even resize the image you mentioned.

But to clarify, you’re saying that Essential Grid won’t display correctly if ALL of my images aren’t exactly the same size?

Changing the grid item height resolves the issue. In your case, you have removed the shadow of the items. Resizing the image should work too without impacting your skin grid design. It is good to know that your issue is now resolved.
