Essential grid issue

Hi Guys,

I’m having trouble with the Essential Grid. Using the Essential Grid element or using the text short code, the grid is only displaying a tiny fraction of the cover image (image attached). Any ideas?

Hello There,

I have inspected your site and I could not find the essential grid on the page. All I see is a bunch of images inserted in the columns. Each of the images does not cover the whole columns because you have set a width for each image. To resolve your issue and make sure that the images will have the same width as your column widths, please edit your page back in Cornerstone. For each of the image settings, please disable the Retina & Dimensions options.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi Guys,

There are two pages, the issue with the Essential Grid in Home 2.

Kindest regards,

billy.

Hi Billy,

Hi, I’ve added a secure note with the login credentials

Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me, I’m trying to achieve the attached effect for a homepage. You advised setting the images to match the column widths, but how can I find out what the column width and heights are in Cornerstone, I want the homepage to be full page like the Homepage.jpg image attached.

I’ve tried a similar effect in Essential Grid, but the images are being cropped. I would ideally like to use Essential Grid as it will behave better when the browser is resized, but how can I edit the images in such a way that it will cover the tile in Essential Grid, but not crop out the top, bottom or sides, as in leave in blank spaces for the Essential Grid tile to crop out and thus maintain the full image?

My logins are attached in the secure notes in the earlier threads of this conversation.

Hello There,

Still we cannot access your site. We are asked for the authentication credentials.

Instead of using the image as a section background, please remove it first and do the following:
1.) Remove the background image.
2.) In the row settings, please disable column container so that the columns will be fullwidth.
3.) In your column, please drag an image element.
4.) In your image element, please insert the image and make sure that there is no top, left/right and bottom margin or padding.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

That’s great, thank you for that.

You’re welcome.
