Essential Grid Instagram Error

Hi. Using the Essential Grid an Instagram as the source for a USERNAME (not tag), I get this error:

“Response code is 429. Body: Error Please wait a few minutes before you try again.”. I reported this like 2 weeks ago. Only happens when searching by user, not by tag.

I reported this a while ago. Any resolutions?

Instagram have changed their API and because of that we are seeing issues. However what you are reporting is a bit different. Can you please share the exact page URL and website login details in secure note for us to take a look.

Done! I previously reported this and the Developer from your team said “everything is fine” but the error persists.

Hi Rima,

Besides Essential Grid in there other plugin/widgets you have that gets a feed from Instagram? The Response code is 429 has something to do with too many requests from Instagram.

Also, this could be a server limitation as your Instagram username works fine on my dev site, please contact your hosting as well regarding this matter.

No other Instagram feed at all. What should I ask the host? They already upgraded PHP and memory limits for me.

Also, where is the Instagram Access Token at in Essential Grid?

Thanks for updating in!

I have tested your Instagram username on my local testing server and I did not encounter such problems.

This issue could be unique to your installation only. Please try to disable your ModSecurity and test your grid again.

Please let us know how it goes.
