Essential Grid Infinite Scroll No longer working

Before the latest update, everything was working great with the infinite scroll function on my Instagram Feed. No longer is working and can not even get more than 12 images to show up. Any way to go about fixing this?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, I am seeing an JS error on your site. Please do the following.

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  • Remove custom Javascript (if any).

Hi there,

I checked and the response from Instagram has just 12 items, hence, there is nothing to load or paginate. Perhaps the issue is between your site and Instagram? What was your EG version where it was still loading the rest?

Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well? I like to test my copy of EG on your site.

Hi thanks! It shouldn’t have to do with my site and Instagram, I haven’t changed anything… I have the setting in EG set to load 16 at start and then infinite scroll to 60. Last version was working w/Version 2.2.4 Artemis (15th March 2018).

Hi there,

I checked and the result is really just 12 items, perhaps it’s API related. Do you still have the backup of your site where this still works? I couldn’t fully check this as this only happens on your site, mine displays the correct amount of items.

I also enabled the debug logging but nothing is logged, perhaps your site has internal cache too?
