Essential Grid - Images not loading

Second time this has happened. It appears Essential Grid may be somewhat less than ‘essential’ - the last time this happened I had to uninstall everything and remake from scratch. Something I’d like to avoid this time if possible?

I have set the EG to use the first post image in one grid and to use a alt image in another (for the video carousel).

Everything appears fine in the backend (nothing changed from when it did work to now other than I updated some plugins recently - I don’t think EG was one of them).

Would anyone be able to take a peek and see what is occurring? Because it seems to happen on updating things and if I know what the fix is I can sort myself in future.

I tried to access your site dashboard but it seems that the default login URL is https://www.your_domain_name.com/wp-admin/ and https://www.your_domain_name.com/wp-login.php/ is not working at my end. It is redirecting to the 404 page. It seems that you have customized the login URL. Please share the login URL.

I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Version Compatibility
  4. Disabling Cache

Yes, custom login page I forgot - hang on…

No cache.
No extra CSS/JS - was working before, now not.
Version is up to date
Doesn’t matter if I turn all the plugins off, it still is blank.

Hang on, looks like a plugin conflict. Images are back once I deactivated many (almost all) of them. Give me 20minutes please.

Conflict is with SMUSH plugin from WPMU DEV - please close the thread. I’m surprised this is causing a conflict, I believed it would be passive unless actively used to compress files?
