Essential grid images not loading past thumbnail

Hi there!

I have an issue I am getting stumped on and would love some help.

On my site, I am using essential grid to show images. The images are supposed to display in a full size image, but when the site is viewed only thumbnails show up until you navigate to the next picture. I have tried changing all the settings including lazy load and animations, but I can’t figure out how to fix it.

Here is an example - https://catexpeditions.wpengine.com/allphototours/puma-photography-tour/. Click on the gallery page and see what loads. Attached is a screenshot.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your page and this usually happens when the lazy loading is turned on. Have you tried disabling the lazy loading? If disabling lazy loading doesn’t help then please check for the following first:

  1. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  2. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  3. DISABLING CACHE
  4. DISABLING CDN
  5. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

If nothing helps then please get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Hi there,
I have tried those things to no avail. Still not showing up until you click the navigation, then they go to the correct size. Can you please take a look? I have added login info in note.

I checked your website and dashboard. I went ahead and checked your page URL it seems that there is no Essential Grid element or Essential Grid shortcode. Please let us know the exact Page URL and the Essential Grid in which you are facing the issue.

Hi Prakash,
That is the correct URL - https://catexpeditions.wpengine.com/all-cat-photography-tours/puma-photography-tour/, about halfway down, there is a row of icons, click on the Gallery or Lodging tab, these both have essential grid galleries.

The corresponding Essential Grid galleries are:
Pumas of Patagonia - Gallery Tab1
Pumas of Patagonia - Other Wildlife Gallery

Pumas of Patagonia - Tierra Patagonia
Pumas of Patagonia - Don Rey Felipe

Adding the grid inside a tabbed content element is not a good idea. It will fail you most of the time. Please understand that the grid needs to initialize upon page loading. When the tab content area is inactive, the grid will not display because it cannot initialize. As soon as you click the tab content area, all you see if blank and grid display. Please consider changing your layout along with the grids. Grids function well when being loaded along with the page.
