Essential Grid Horrible for Speed

Hey, I love essential grid and what it offers, but are there any ways to speed it up? It’s destroying the speed of my pages.

I have galleries I’ve built manually with dozens of elements, and have a great speed score. I made a test page with the same information in nothing but one essential grid, and the score dropped by almost 30%.

I have lazy-loading enabled as well as pagination disabled. is there anything else I can do to speed this thing up? I love using it but I’ll have to stop if this is what it does to my page.

Thanks for writing in!
As ESS Grid is a JS based plugins which have the bunch of JS loading in the page.
You can try using cache plugins make the JS minification option.

We are really sorry but there is no other way to optimize it.
