Essential Grid - grey

Hi there,

When I put the source to custom on essential grid, the live preview below it stays grey always, not allowing me to create a grid.

I want the grids for my portfolio page, I could do them using the portfolio short code generator on the portfolio page, but I don’t know if there is shortcode to add an open pop up window to show the image in there.

The essential grid on the right is okay, but I want it so that when you click the images, it loads them in a new window. Could you please assist?

Hi there,

That is the normal behavior of the Essential Grid when you select the Custom Grid source. After that you need to actually choose the media you want to have something there to show.

Hi Christopher,

I have read the documentation. It is not normal behavior for the box to be constantly grayed out, after I click on add images, either single or bulk after the image has been selected, the box will stay greyed out and if you go to save it - it will say “add an image”.

The images will not add, try it for your self my login details are there?

Ive tried reseting the cache, uninstalling and disabling all addons before I wait 11 hours to hear that

It works totally fine on my other site with xtheme and essential grid

Thanks . for the clarification!
I am really sorry that the post accidentally closed.
I checked your site and I can confirm the issue. When an image or multiple image upload to the grid its not showing up in the preview windows. Only its happening with custom grid, Post grids are loading fine.

Also I tested it in my setup which is working fine. So there is some issue with your setup.
So I would like you please disable all other plugins to test if there is any conflict also you can delete the ESS grid plugin via FTP and reinstall it.
