My essential grid was displaying Instagram posts just fine, but now it’s just displaying gray boxes on website, and I didn’t change anything. Please help. I’ve done all the updates I could see and cleared out the cache.

Thanks for reaching out.
Your site is served to Wordpress.com CDN (could also be a Jetpack setup), and the image URLs hosted through their CDN returns 403 and if you access any URL, it will return We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched.
And if you’ll deduce the URL, this is the actual instagram URL

with message URL signature mismatch
Maybe something on Instagram side was changed affecting the permission that was granted through API, or perhaps the Instagram account/posts was changed to private? I’m not really sure but you may provide your admin login credentials in a secure note then I’ll check.

My guess is correct, it’s due to Jetpack’s option.
I turned it off and images start displaying.
