Essential Grid from Global block

Hi!
My site is http://blaisindustries.lamachineavapeur.ca.
In the Essential Grip options, I see Global Blocks. However, even is I have a few global blocks made, I don’t see away way to select them.
Do I have to add a category option somewhere?

Are you referring to this?

If yes, then Global Blocks can’t be used there because global blocks is not like other post types, it doesn’t have a category and it doesn’t have a featured image which is needed in the Essential Grid.

Can you tell us what you want to achieve by adding the Global Blocks into the Essential Grid? So that we can help you or give you another solution.

That’s what I thought…

I’m trying to display the services available with a sorting option at the top, that would look like this:
- Image on the left (icon), description on the right. 2 columns. Sorting option at the top.

I’m thinking about using the Grid or Essential Grid but the layout is giving me pause. I don’t now how to achieve the desired effect. I’m open to ideas…

Hello Nathalie,

Thanks for updating in! How did you created your services? Did you add it as a portfolio item or a simple post type? From my perspective, you can recreate the layout inside Cornerstone or Pro Editor without the sort option though. The sort option may be available if you use The Grid or Essential Grid. The layout may not be similar to your example.

Regretfully that layout with a sorting button feature may only be possible with custom development. Please be advised that it is beyond the scope of our support. You may need to contact 3rd party developer to do it for you.
