Essential Grid. Fixed grid height when using filters

I am using the Essential Grid plugin from my X theme that consist of 5 x 5 items.

When clicking one of the filters/categories the amount of grid items visible varies. The amount of rows varies as well the page height which results in the next page of my site to jumping up and down. Is there a way to have the total grid size (in this case the height) to be fixed?

In case this is not possible, is there a way to place blanco items/images till a total of 25 items for each category except “All”?

Thanks for writing in.

They are both not possible, you can’t add blank items. Not filter them resulting in the same amount of items.

Filter, works on the current items of the current page only. If filter 1 has 3 items out of 10 items, clicking it will only display 3 items.

Though, you may try contacting a developer to see if it can be done. Though, I think it’s a bit hard.

How about when I set an amount of so called dummy items (dummy 1, dummy 2) ad depends of the amount for a specific filter, an x amount of dummies is added so the total remains 25. For example filter a = 17 items from 25. So I add 8 dummies: dummy 1 till dummy 8. And these dummy items has their animation off or are not discovered by the mouse. The dummy items are placed after the other items.

Portfolio -> Edit PF item -> Skin Modifications may also play a role?

If it is all not possible, how about Ess Grid -> Grid Settings -> Columns?
