Essential Grid Filters - multiple single choice filters?

Hi everyone,

I’ve really been enjoying using Essential Grid over the last few days… however I have come unstuck with one feature - or lack thereof - which is the global settings on filter groups. While it is possible - and awesome - to have multiple groups of filters, only having one choice for really critical settings seems bizarre.

I would love to see this:

so that I could set the first filter group to “Choose a Language” (ie filter type single) and the second group to “Choose Topics of Interest” (ie filter type multiple > AND).

Is this currently possible to achieve in some way? I’ve had a search through forums and documents and come across this, though I’m not clear on whether it’s appropriate in this instance.

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately, that is not possible with the Essential Grid plugin. You need a more complicated set of filters that the essential grid plugin does not provide.

You either need to hire a developer to create such a feature for you or find another third-party plugin. You always can ask if such a feature is available as a pre-sale question of a third-party plugin.
