I have two pages not loading on my site, presumably because of this:
‘Fatal error: Undefined class constant ‘isColor’ in /home/wp_u8wvkw/mindgains.dreamhosters.com/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/includes/colorpicker.class.php on line 148’
The affected pages are:

Try re-installing the plugin.
Deactivate and Delete then install it back from PRO > Overview.

In the development version of the site I was able to verify that upgrading from Essential Grid Version 2.1.5.1 to Version 2.1.6.1 broke these pages. I’m not sure what the best procedure is for downgrading my live version of Ess Grid to the earlier version. Can you advise?

I have EG 2.1.6.1 in my installation and I’m not getting any issue similar to yours. The cause probably is not due to version/updates. But you may download the older version from the URL below.
Then deactivate your EG and delete it, then install the downloaded EG in Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Or you can simply do it through FTP, like deleting the existing EG folder under /wp-content/plugins/, then extract the downloaded EG and upload it in /wp-content/plugins/.

I would agree that EG 2.1.6.1 is not inherently bad and probably works for most sites, however it initiates a fatal error on my site that EG 2.1.5.1 does not.
The link you provided doesn’t lead to a downloadable file for me. Could you double check please?

It’s a link to download Version 2.1.0.1, not 2.1.5.1

I don’t have that version but I’ll check who still have that one. And please provide your FTP login credentials too, your installation is the only one that has that error, we have 2.1.6.1 without any issues.

Thanks for looking into it further.
I’ve noticed a couple of related issues. Not all Ess Grid pages are broken. Working Board still works, how ever if you switch the grid on that page over to “mindGAINS blog”(same as what’s used on a broken page) it breaks the page. If I go to explore the settings for that grid I am not able to open any of the settings tabs. This is the same for a still working grid like the “working board” grid settings.

Yes, I noticed that. But the credentials are incorrect, please provide the correct one 
It’s safer to replace the plugin through FTP, that way, the data will remain intact. Just don’t visit the plugin page while I’m doing that.

I’ve added a bit of info that might help you connect. Could you possibly send me a link to the plugin and have me install/upload it?
Which component exactly do I need to upload so as to preserve the grids and skins I’ve created, while still replacing the plugin? If I upload the replacement Ess Grid folder to my live plugins folder will my skins and grids remain intact? I believe they will, in which case where are they stored in my site?

I did a further search and found that it is a confirm bug on Essential Grid. If you are interested to use the latest version of this plugin, maybe just try a fixed suggested here.
