Essential Grid Editor Not Loading Previews or Controls

I am having an issue with Essential Grid on one of my websites. Firstly, the grids show on the pages where the shortcode has been placed - good thing. Now the problem is I wanted to change some of the grids and when I access Essential Grid and click on Settings for any of the saved grids the preview does not load nor does the Save Button and the other buttons show. I have already disabled all plugins to test for a conflict there - still did not load. I cleared my browser cache (both Safari and Chrome) and still had the problem. I am not using a cache on the site.

Hello James,

Thanks for providing the details.

I have checked your site and there are some Javascript errors in the backend which might be causing the issue.

It could be possible that there is a third party plugin conflict so please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please also check this docs article which contains more troubleshooting info:

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help. I had already disabled the plugins to no avail. So, I did it all again including everything in the Common Issues Doc. I still have the same issue. So with only Essential Grid Activated and no custom CSS or JS. The same behaviour occurs. As a note, when I activated the JAVA Script Console on the Home Page, I did not see the errors in you screen capture - am I missing something there. However, when I only activated Essential Grid I did see three Javascript errors. I uploaded a screen shot.

Any ideas as I need to modify some grids for the company?

Hi James,

Can you set up a staging site so we can investigate further the issue? In the meantime, please deactivate and delete the Essential Grid and reinstall in under Pro > Validation > Extensions.

Thanks,

Thank you for your help. I removed Essential Grid from the site and recreated the grid using the new Grid Element and I am happy with the results - far less overhead. Unfortunately, I do not have time to create a staging site to solve this problem.

Thanks again for your assistance and offer to dig into this issue.
