Essential grid demo content - can't load any of it

Tried to load demo content library, says I need 2.3, I have 2.3.2, keeps asking me to upgrade or add license number. Does this mean the included plugin with x theme cannot load the demo content? If so, why even include it, seems pointless?

Also, trying to make a variety of adjustments and often they don’t hold. Would like to close gap between images/grid items, however the grid item itself is wider then the image, so it adds a lot of extra padding and looks odd. Can that be adjusted? One of the reasons I looked to use demo content, figured the one I saw looked set how I wanted, just drop in my content then, but won’t install.

I also need to adjust lightbox size on large or pretty much every screen, mobile actually isn’t bad but 27" imac it blows it out too much, looks terrible, want it to be set dimensions, will css hold? Tried some others and didn’t seem to matter.

Thanks for writing in!

Since the creators of the Essential grid plugin release their latest version, the demos are now exclusively available only when you purchased a separate license of the plugin. Bundled plugins like what you have no longer have the ability to load the demo grids.

To adjust the gas between the grid items, you will have to do it in the grid settings. You can add item spacings and item paddings in the Grid Settings tab. You can check the documentation here:

Thanks I’ll check that out. I think it’d be best to remove the demos then, completely misleading and pretty much worthless then.
