Essential Grid Controls not loading (and other errors including post tags)

Hello,

As of this morning, I am having the following problems.

In essential grid, I am no longer able to save my grids as the typical icons that allow you to save them once you’ve made changes have disappeared. They simply no longer appear on the screen in the backend in both chrome and safari.

When I go to create new posts, I can no longer select or add tags in anyway, whether by manually typing or by attempting to select them from the list of most popular.

This may have occurred after an update to wordpress 5.5.1

Please advise if you know of a solution.

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot the common issues related to it.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Child Theme Related issue
3.CSS/JS Customization

If it arises after the WordPress upgrade, I would suggest you downgrade the version of your site till the supported version in our version compatibility page.

If none of the above helps and you are still getting the same issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
