Essential Grid causes timeouts and errors

Hi there,

I am experiencing troubles with EG since a few days. The site of my clients became unstable due to problems caused by EG plugin.

I made several tests to see what caused the sudden slowness of the website and after trying all the solutions, like deactivating all plugins, it shows that EG causes gateway timeout. Site health indicates REST API issues and curl error 28.

I have tried to update, it took me ages but I am now at latest WP 6.1 version with PHP8 running and I have increased memory till 512mb.

When I deactivate the plugin everything works fine.
Is there a conflict with the theme?
