Essential Grid button link to Woocommerce product URL

I cannot seem to figure this out and I would appreciate some help.

In essential Grid skin editor, I have created a button that I want to link to a Woocommerce product URL.
Ideally I want to do this by using a Meta field but I cannot find a way to create a Meta field that automatically gets the Woocommerce product URL.

The idea of this is that I do not have to manually enter a product URL meta value for each Woocommerce product I create. Instead, when I create a new product, the skin button will automatically link to the product in the Woocommerce store.

Any idea how to accomplish this?

Thanks for writing in!

When you edit the grid skin, make sure that your button is linked to the posts. When you use this skin to display the WooCommerce products, the button should automatically link to the product URL.

@ruenel Thank you for the info.

It turns out that because I had set the source of the grid to “Custom Grid” and not “Product”, I could not get the link to work.
By changing the grid source and following your advice, all is working now. So simple when you know :slight_smile:
