Essential Grid and Facebook - how to get approved

What is the process to get an Essential Grid facebook feed approved? Their instruction link shows a few settings for the plugin, but the FB approval process is void. FB app approval seems like an endless loop… why can’t Essential Grid be better written for something as simple as a FB feed. I know they’ll blame FB for this… but the issue is in how they made the plugin.

For example, Smashballoon does an awesome job with their Custom Facebook Feed plugin… full props to them (9/10). Essential Grid for FB… 0/10.

Anyways, been fighting to get a silly FB feed going… does anyone have some practical steps to make this work? FB asks for a video for the permissions, but not an app developer and not following that as there is no login video to show as all we want is to display our own feed.

Essential Grid is not a plugin developed by Themeco, though we ship bundled with X and Pro Theme. We don’t have much of control over the functioning of Essential Grid. I would suggest you take a look at following resources to display Facebook stream on your website.
