Hello there,
I’m trying to make the alt image on hover to be on top (not covered by Cover color). It should be possible. Any idea?

Hi @vojtechzikmund,
Thank you for reaching out to us. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Alternatively you can choose the skin that shows titles on hover by navigating to Essential Grid Settings > Skins
You can also edit skins as you need, please see https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/item-skin-editor/
Thanks for understanding. Take care!
@Nabeel I understand that, but I’m pretty sure it can be done via simple css. If we add a higher z-index to the background image than the cover. I can see that the title has a css added z-index: 2 important!
I just cannot seem to find the right element to apply the css to.
Hello @vojtechzikmund,
There are no Alt attribute in the image.
Please be advised that you cannot use CSS to display an attribute. An element attribute will not display on the page as well. The Alt text should be added as an element into your grid item which can only be done by editing your Grid Skin. If you want to know how to edit the grid skin, please check this out:
Hope this explains it briefly.
