Essential Grid add nofollow to external links

I am using essential grids on my website and have a few setup with a button linked to a custom meta called url. This lets each post on the grid link to a different external site depending on what I set the url meta for the post to. I can make it open in a new tab by setting link target to _blank but I cannot find a way to set nofollow. I don’t think it is possible to put it in the custom meta part because I only type the url, not any of the other things like rel. So I think I need to put it in the link target area but it isn’t an option.

Do you know a fix or a workaround?

Hello Eric,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully you cannot add any element attribute like the rel="nofollow" in the button inside Essential Grid. This is the limitations of the grid skin editor.

We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
