I have a license for X-Theme. There is an error message … “Hi! Please activate your copy of the Essential Grid to receive automatic updates & get premium support.” that I can not figure out how to get rid of. I’m already using the last version for the theme.
How do I activate my copy of Essential Grid?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Essential Grid is a bundled plugin that comes with X/Pro and for all the bundled plugins which you have installed, there is no need to activate or register it. Even without registering or activating the plugins, you should be able to use all the features of the plugin. We will be the ones who will provide you with updates. If there are any plugin updates, you can see it in your dashboard (Dashboard > Updates) and will be able to update to the latest versions provided that you have validated the theme. Of course you can always proceed to update it because I am sure that you already validated your theme.
You can safely dismiss the notice in your dashboard. Hope this helps!
So, I’m still struggling with the plugin because it doesn’t let me download any of the templates i should be able to download. I’ve spent the last hours reading and trying to update or reinstall things and it does not work. It always shows me the page below. I know you’ve said i shouldn’t worry about updating or validating because I’m gonna still have access to all features of the plugin, but it’s clearly not the case. Please, SOS:

Please be advised that the importing of templates in Essential Grid is an exclusive feature if you have purchased a separate license of the plugin. Bundled plugins like the one you got from X theme will not allow you to get hold of this templates. This is how the creators of the Essential Grid played out with there product and we do not have any hold in the features or limitations of the plugin.

got it! Thank you a lot RueNel. I thought maybe that was the case, but I was told I was supposed to have access to all features, I ended up insisting on trying to get it and wasted much time on it. Now that I know what to expect from that plugin I can focus better on editing the site. Thank you a lot!!!
