Essential Grid 2.2.4.1 - Instagram problem

Hello,
I continue to have problems with Essential Grid and Instagram.
When I go on the website a few times works and other times do no works.
The login appears at the top right and a strange error message in the site footer, can you see: http://tozzistudio.com/?

This is what I see:

Many thanks!

Hi @thomas9999,

Thanks for writing in.

Where do you host your site? The response error is not coming from Instagram or plugin, it’s from bluebar (eg.<script type="text/javascript" src="/static/scripts/bluebar.js/e80bdeb35408.js" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>). Even the entire page’s HTML is outputted in the response such as

This means the plugin rendering is displayed by an error page from your host itself. It replaces the code rendered by the plugin. Could you try contacting your hosting provider about this?

Thanks!

My hosting provider says that there is no problem on the server.
Definitively I will use The Grid

Many thanks!

I can see you are using The Grid plugin successfully now, good luck!

@Alaa do you think it’s normal that sometimes appear this message?

No content was found for the current ursername(s) and/or hashtag(s).

unbelievable

Hello @thomas9999,

Thanks for asking.

That shouldn’t be the case if you have added correct username. However, upon checking the website it seems to be working fine. Here is a screenshot.

Thanks.

Sometimes it works and sometimes not…

if you try to go on the website ten more times you’ll see that sometimes it does not work

Hi @thomas9999,

I have tested your site in a different browsers and devices and it is working well.

If still this is happening, there could be a connection timeout or something that disrupts the connection between Instagram and your hosting.

You could try contacting the support of the grid plugin. Maybe they have experienced it already.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

I will try, many thanks!

You are most welcome.

when I try to open a ticket i get this message: https://imgur.com/a/sO6f7m2

Hello There,

The response is telling you that your purchase code is incorrect. I assume that you used the purchased code for X. Since the plugin is bundled in the theme, you do not have any purchase code for the plugin. This is only available and the support is only applicable if you have purchased a separate license for the plugin.

I have check the page and I could not replicate the issue. If you refresh the page in a very short interval of time, chances are, the error would appear in your end because the Instagram API returns a request timeout which usually happens if you send the same amount of request in a very short period of time. This is a way of the server rejecting your request for the moment to prevent the server from overloading.

I also noticed that you have updated Cornerstone to 3.1.2. Please make sure that your X theme is updated to. Right now it is still 6.0.4. I would recommend that you update X theme to 6.1.3 and Cornerstone 3.1.3 because we just release another update a few hours ago. Please do not forget to check the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/) to know more what is included in the release.

Hope this helps.

@RueNel I update everything now and I’m testing Essential Greed here: https://tozzistudio.com/test-essential-greed/

but still not working…

I think to itìs a server problem, I asked OVH but they told me that it’s everything ok on the server

Now I don’t know what to do more

Many thanks for your patience!

Hi @thomas9999,

I checked and been checking and I don’t see any issue on that grid.

It could be a connection between your site and Instagram server through API. And maybe it’s failing, but I can’t confirm it now, it’s been working okay. Have you tried in a staging or different host? Just for testing and just temporary platform.

Thanks!

@Rad yes, the last test is this…
I will try on another server

Many thanks!

You’re welcome. Also, try other computers, browsers and internet connection. It is also possible that there’s some connection restriction between your computer/browser and Instagram.

Thanks.
