Ess Grid not showing in preview or on the backend

For whatever reason, their software isn’t showing the pagination elements in the EssGrid grid builder preview screen, nor are the elements showing up on the back end after the grid is published. I also tried inserting them via short codes in a text element. No dice. Yes yes, clear cache and what not. It isn’t showing in their preview.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Doug,

Thank you for writing in, can you confirm that all are in the latest compatible version (WP, Theme, Ess. Grid), you can refer here for the latest compatible version.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Cheers!

I updated Pro. Nothing.

Hello Doug,

You must share the site URL and WordPress admin URL in the secure note so that we can check them. I checked your Themeco dashboard but there is a couple of sites listed.

Thanks

Hello @Iwantarefund,

Because your maximum post preview is set to 5 items, only 5 items will display. The pagination will also not display in the preview.

The pagination will only display on the live view which is displaying as expected on this test page I have created.
See the secure note.

Please check your site again. Thanks.

Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Please do not delete this thread until I confirm I can replicate this functionality.

Hey @Iwantarefund,

This thread will auto close after 10 days incase of no activity but it won’t be deleted. You can test it in the mean time.

Cheers!

It took you guys 10 hours, asked for an admin login, delayed again when there was ambiguity on the domain, only to tell me that the preview doesn’t display the pagination?

Astonishing.

All to utilize a 3rd-party plugin to accomplish what Cornerstone cannot.

Go ahead and close this ish. It ain’t helpful for anybody.

Hi @Iwantarefund,

We are really sorry for the delayed reply. There are a few tickets in the support forum due to the recent update, and we are trying to give answer all of that one by one. Once replied the thread will push back to the end of the list and comes to us once the previously posted thread is answered.

Thanks

Well aware. Of course this question could have been answered without a login. It was an easy question with an easy response. None of which required you to log-in to my site.

Be more respectful of your customer’s time please.

Hi @Iwantarefund,

We’re sorry for the frustration, we ask for the wp-admin because every website has a different setup and it will help us to spot the issue when we have the back-end access.

If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Again, we’re sorry for the frustration and thank you for understanding.
