Errors after updating

We have errors after an (automatic?) update and we cannot login on wp-admin. At http://oosterleeschool.nl

Warning : file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. Hi @macvink,

Thanks for reaching out!

I just check your website and I don’t see that there’s a warning. One more thing, I also notice that you have an outdated X theme and cornerstone plugin which might conflict with your website. I suggest that you update your X theme and cornerstone plugin to the latest version. Please follow the steps below on how you can upgrade both without any errors.

1.) Deactivate and uninstall your cornerstone plugin to avoid any conflict
2.) Update your X theme to the latest version
3.) Install again the latest cornerstone plugin

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. The troubles started after the update. Now I have set everything back from a backup and the sites works well.

Hello @macvink,

Gald that things are well for you. In case if you want to update it. It would best if you could copy your live site to a staging server. Here you can update your theme and plugin on the staging server. After the update, you must clear the cache so that the latest code renders properly.

In case if you haven’t seen our theme update doc please have a look at it.

Thanks
