Error when trying to navigate back to WP Page list from cornerstone

Hi There,
Im having an issue when I return to the Wordpress Admin screen from the page editor in X Pro.
I receive the following message:
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

The odd thing is that there is a global block which sits above this message?
When I try the same process of returning to the admin page from within a page without the global block it seems to work ok.
So I believe the global block is causing an issue.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Would love some help to problem solve this.

We haven’t received reports about that yet so it could be that the cause is not Pro. Please first try the following solutions or tests to isolate the cause of the issue.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  6. Disabling Cache
  7. Disabling Cdn
  8. Permalinks
  9. Version Compatibility

Only if none of the steps work, please give us the following info in a Secure Note and we’ll be happy to investigate.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
  • FTP credentials

Hello @shuttom,

We have logged in and inspected your page layout. In the 1st section, you have inserted a Global Block “Header”. In this global block, you have added the Cart Link and Cart Total WooCommerce dynamic element in the last column. Be advised that there is a known bug in the latest release that breaks the WP page editing screen when the Cart Total dynamic element is added to a page. Our developers are already made aware of this issue and working for a fix. We cannot guarantee yet when the new release update will roll out. We will just add a note referencing to this thread so our dev team will see multiple reports on this issue.

I also noticed the error is triggered when I go to the WP Edit Page link within the page list area.

I cannot see the update link in the plugins, themes or updates area??
I have had this problem before…

Hi @shuttom,

It looks like MonsterInsights is preventing the automatic updates

Please update that setting.

If the issue persists, there could be another thing that prevents automatic update, probably a server-side configuration. You might need to perform a manual update.

Are you referring to the where you cannot navigate back to the WP Page list from cornerstone? Be advised that our developers have yet to release the update. We are still in the testing phase for the next release version.
