Error updating theme

After updating the theme, all the cornerstone elements have disappeared and it won’t let me edit any section

It seems that the elements are not enabled. Can you please check if the elements are enabled or not? If not please check by allowing. If that is already enabled, there might be different reasons for your issue. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated it.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I have followed all the steps but it remained the same until I deleted the default WP themes and now the elements are loading…

Is the issue resolved already? If you were using the classic elements, you can go to Cornerstone > Settings > Permissions > Elements and make sure to enable the “All Classic” elements as well.

To help you with your concerns we need to check your settings, it would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts
