Error updating Convert Plus

As part of “X”, I have Convert Plus installed. Convert Plus comes bundled with “Connects - Mailchimp”. When I try to update that, I keep getting errors stating that I need to buy a license of Convert Plus. Of course I don’t want to do that since it came bundled with “X”. Bottom line question: what do I do?
