Error running inline script when editing page in Pro

Hi,

I need to update a Wordpress page with Pro. The editor starts up, but when the page is loading, I get an error message in the browser console saying “Error running inline script {script: script, e: SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<’
at eval ()
at https://MYSERVER.de/wp-incl…}”.

I cannot locate the problem. Do you have a hint?

Thanks!

Hi @ttheel,

Thank you for writing in, first, please do a Testing for Plugin Conflict.

Also, if you have any Custom JS somewhere, please try removing it for a while and see if that resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Cheers!

Thank you @friech. Unfortunately deactivating all plugins and removing Custom JS did not help. It would be great if you could have a closer look at this. The relevant page URL is https://SERVER/pro/#/content/2705

Hi @ttheel,

Thank you for the credentials, but I can’t access both /wp-admin nor /wp-login.php, it redirects to 404 pages.

Did you try removing the custom JS on Theme Options > JS and Page > JS? I’m still seeing from the front-end that there are still custom scripts on those areas.

Cheers!

Hi @friech,

sorry for the login problems. Please see details above.

I removed the JS code in both locations. After this has not helped I put it back in.

Hello @ttheel,

I have investigated the issue and the issue is still going on.

This could mean that the theme file resources were corrupted or missing. Can you please re install the Pro theme? You can do that manually. Kindly check out our documentation on how perform manual update:

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.

Hey @ruenel,

unfortunately that didn’t help. I guess I am going to redesign the page.

Best,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Yes, please try that too. Any script can cause this issue and not just limited to built-in JS libraries.

Thanks!
