We do not provide support for The Grid plugin because it is not a bundled plugin. Kindly reach out to the authors of The Grid.
Okay, I will do that. But I’m confused by this this Themeco post and what it says about being unsupported. https://theme.co/docs/the-grid
I used this plug-in a few years ago and am pretty sure Themeco supported tech questions about it. Is the change that you’re no longer supporting it with tech support, or that the plug-in will shortly not work at all because Themeco is no longer supporting it?
I found that plug-in to be very user-friendly and efficient and want to continue to use it, but only if it will still be functional with X and Pro going forward. Thanks for clarifying what “support of this 3rd party plugin ended” means.
Also, just a few hours ago I decided to upgrade to Pro in order to get the exclusive Grid element. But so far I’m finding it extremely complex to use, especially compared to The Grid plug-in.
–> Is there an easy way to use templates or something with the new Grid element to make it easier to design.

–> How would I design a grid that updates based on user-selectable criteria. I am using this to display a portfolio of work that is divided into various categories. I want the user to be able to select which category of work to view. This function was built in to The Grid plug-in. How can I achieve it with the new Grid element?

The Grid plugin might still work. We only don’t provide help/support for it. If you need help with The Grid, please contact the authors of the plugin.
I understand. Trouble is, I’m having a heck of a time finding any method to contact them. I know this isn’t your problem, but do you happen to have a site, email, chat, phone, anything on them?

Regretfully we no longer have contact with them. Our previous developer was the one who communicated when this plugin was still part of the bundled plugins.
