Error Message when loading PRO page builder

Hi, i m getting this error message when trying to build pages with PRO.
A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading
https://screencast.com/t/64einIy4k6t

Its a new wordpress site, re-installed PRO and child theme, deactivated all plugins. I am also not using custom code or cloudflare.

Interestingly it works when launching the page that is set as the “under construction” page.

Can you help?

Thanks
Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Thank you for writing in, lets increase your PHP Max Script Execute Time, to do this please edit your wp-config.php file and add this line: set_time_limit(200);

add that line above /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ comment.

You can confirm if the site honor that settings under Dashboard > WP-ServerInfo and see if the PHP Max Script Execute Time is set to 200. If not, please contact your host and ask how you can increase the PHP Max Script Execute Time effectively.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback.

  • I have added code to wp-config with no success.
  • After contacting hosting provider HOSTEUROPE they said that i can set this with an entry in the htaccess.

However i dont know how. do you have any idea how to fix this with an htaccess entry?

Thanks
Gerald

Hi there,

You may add it like this in your htaccess file, the htaccess file is in your site’s root folder(eg. public_html)

<IfModule mod_php5.c>
php_value post_max_size 5M
php_value upload_max_filesize 5M
php_value memory_limit 128M
php_value max_execution_time 259200
php_value max_input_time 259200
php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 259200
</IfModule>

For the meantime, please update your theme to the latest version.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

Still doesn’t load :frowning:
I added your code to the htaccess file like below:

# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>

<IfModule mod_php5.c>
php_value post_max_size 5M
php_value upload_max_filesize 5M
php_value memory_limit 128M
php_value max_execution_time 259200
php_value max_input_time 259200
php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 259200
</IfModule>

# END WordPress

Any idea how to solve this?

Hi there,

I checked your website and using the FTP the config and htaccess. It seems that you added the code correctly but your hosting service provider does not allow that doing on your own. Please kindly contact your hosting service provider and ask them to increase the execution time from their side.

Thank you.
