Error Message on CF7 form upon submission

Hi there,

I’ve gotten a ton of help already on these forms, and thank you!! I have one form on my client’s website that is creating an error message upon submission.

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like! Thanks so much. The form is located at: https://capitolds.com/customer-center/ and it is the form labeled “Meter Reading”. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your fast response! Unfortunately the forum answer did not give any insight into what could be wrong.

The form was working fine (as all the other ones are) but I know we messed around with some of the code (per you guys’ help) for styling purposes, so I’m wondering if this has something to do with it.

Something to note, is that although the error comes up, we are receiving the person’s form submission, so it is only they (the website visitor and person filling out the form) that is the one seeing the message. We are getting their response on the back end, so it is not a mail server issue.

All the other forms on the website use the same server for the email address and so this is probably not the problem.

Thanks SO much for you guys’ help, hopefully we can figure out what is causing this particular “Meter” form to give the error message!

Further investigation with your contact form shows that you have misconfigured one of the settings. Please check out the image below:
