Error 403 when using Snippet Extension: Additional Types

Hi, it’s the first time I’ve used your extension Snippet, and I’m trying to add in the Additional Types that is within the Organization > Optional Fields section. In the example given it says to put them in the following format:

http://www.productontology.org/id/Singer

I have done this and every time I save it by clicking ‘Update’, I got the error 403. I thought it might have been me adding in the wrong URL so I used the exact same example above and still get the error message!

I have no idea what it is I’m doing wrong, I hope you can help!

I’ll put the URL and admin info in a secure note.

Thanks!

Hello @core365,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that the Schema plugin and the Snippet plugin are both active. Please turn OFF Schema and test the site again. May we know which page/post you are trying to edit that gives you the error? It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Best Regards.

Hi @ruenel,

Ah, it was like you said, I deactivated Schema plugin and Snippet is now working fine, thanks!

With regards to the Additional Types, how do you separate them when you’re adding in more than one? Is it with a comma between each one or just a space? I’ve tried to add in 3 of them on separate lines but after saving it rearranges them to appear on the same line with just a space in between each one and I don’t know if that’s correct or not!

eg, is the following correct:
http://www.productontology.org/id/example1 http://www.productontology.org/id/example2 http://www.productontology.org/id/example3

Thanks!

Hi @core365,

Multiple Additional Types can be added in different lines. I would suggest you go through the article on how you can add it.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi @tristup,

I’d already read the same article and it doesn’t go into adding multiple Additional Types, or I can’t see the reference to it. This is the only info the article has on it:

  • Additional Types: You can add additional types to your Schema markup as extensions using this option.

How do you format multiple entries for it?

Thanks

Hello @core365,

Multiple entries will be added line by line. Please check this out:

Hope this helps.

Hi @ruenel,

Thanks for the link, but I’m getting even more confused! Do I need to add each Additional Type in this format:

<http://www.productontology.org/id/option1>
<http://www.productontology.org/id/option2>
<http://www.productontology.org/id/option3>

Or do I leave off the < > I just need to know what format I need to enter multiple URLs for the Additional Types in your Snippet extension!

Thanks

Hi @core365,

You don’t need to use <>, just add the multiple entries line by line.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

Ok, thanks for letting me know!
