Envira masonry and lightbox broken after upgrade

I updated my client’s website and after upgrading x and cornerstone, the envira galleries no longer show the masonry layout and no longer open in lightbox.

I used the Health Check plugin and the plugin worked with all other plugins disabled when it was using 2014 theme. It seems like there must be a conflict between theme and envira plugin.

I checked to make sure that all images were linked to image file and not the attachment page. I also diabled Lazy Loading.

Thanks for writing in! It appears that you have installed WP Fastest Cache and that you have minified the JS/CSS files. Please always clear your plugin cache first before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately.

Yes, thank you for your help. Part of the problem was a cache issue. The masonry is now working and the lightbox is coming up, but I can’t close the lightbox using the “X” in the upper right hand corner. I’ve tried different styles on the three galleries and I’m having the same issue with each one.

Hello There,

As soon as you click on the X button, a JS error will appear. Could you please regenerate the minified JS/CSS files? It is best that you temporarily disable the caching or minify plugin so that we can investigate the issue further and find out if this is a bug or just a minified file issue.

I’m not sure I know how to regenerate the minified JS/CSS files - please explain. I am using JS & CSS Script Optimizer plugin and I deactivated and cleared cache, but this didn’t help. I did the same with WP Fastest Cache with no result. Please advise.

Please update to the latest version of Envira Gallery that was just released which is version 1.8.41.

Kindly also clear your site’s cache after updating.

Thank you for your help. I updated the plugin. I had to recreate all of the Galleries since my upgrade to 6.0.4. Any of those from before don’t display and open to a lightbox, but all of the new ones are working nicely now. I hope that I don’t have to rebuild them with the next upgrade.

It should not, I notice that your site is under CloudFlare, remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
