Envira Gallery's create a new gallery is suddenly asking for a license key

I have created new galleries previously, but now, all of a sudden, I cannot create a new gallery as Envira Gallery is asking for a License key. I am using:
X Theme ver 7.2.3
Cornerstone 4.2.3
Wordpress 5.5.3
Envira Gallery 1.9.0.2
Website: https://bigsurartworks.com

The Envira plugin shows update available to ver 1.9.02 but when I try to update it shows it’s updating but it really keeps the same original version 1.9.0.2. I have tried deactivating all the other plugins but it is still requesting an
Envira Gallery License.

I have the same issue also. In addition, I have a persistent update available notification even though I have the latest version (1.9.0.2) installed.

Hey There,

We are already in touch with the plugin developer about this and working on a solution. For the meantime you can revert to the previous version to prevent the popup to be triggered. As soon as I hear back from them I will report it here.

Hey There,

I’ve sent you an email with the previous version. Additionally it will be available via automatic updates within the next hours. You can then delete the plugin and install it newly which will revert it to the older version.

Will deleting the plugin and installing again delete the current galleries or will they remain there?

They should remain but as always with big changes like that we recommend doing a backup before replacing the plugin. I’ve sent you a download link for the old version so you can also FTP into your website and replace the envira gallery folder under /wp-content/plugins/.
