Envira Gallery lightbox on safari showing small images

Hi,

I am running Pro 4.0.11 with envira gallery. On chrome & firefox all works well, but on Safari the lightbox pop up images are showing at half size. It looks like safari is coding the images to 500px wide.

I have cleared style cache, cleared wprocket cache, disabled varnish cache. This problem was reported to me by the client, so not a local browser/caching issue

Thanks for writing in! I have compared the gallery image on my Chrome, Edge, and Safari. I can replicate the issue.
Regretfully the issue has been going on for some time. We do not have any control over this issue since this is browser rendering. See this article:

Thank you for letting me know… I assume there is no way of changing Envira gallery to account for how Safari displays the lightbox? or specific css to override the safari defaults?

Regretfully, there is no workaround for this.

I believe the author of Envira Gallery is finding a way to get around this also.
