Envira gallery: lightbox hanging after clicking on "x"

Topic says it already:

When I open a page with envira gallery, this opens fine. It’s fine even when I open an image in the lightbox and image scrolling with the LEFT or RIGHT arrows in the lightbox is fine too. But as soon as I try to close the lightbox with the “x” or use the UPPER arrows, the lightbox hangs. No operation is possible. I have to reload the whole page to move on.

This happens on the homepage, where is an evira gallery, and on the menu “gallery” as well, where’s another gallery located.

I am having problem too, the page will not display when I add a gallery and the last two I have created in the past few days are not displaying in the cornerstone gallery list. http://vxrworks.com/honors/ when gallery added no content will display on page. If I remove the gallery the page will display.

@troy19 I tried both legacy and dark lightbox theme and it all works on my end. I also made it almost similar to your setup. Perhaps there is a conflict in your setup? You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

With same process, you can do the conflict test for custom codes if you have any.

Else, please provide your admin login credentials in a secure note and I’ll check it.

Thank you, Rad, your hint solved the issue.

I outcommented all custom codes, but the issue persisted. Then I deactivated several plugins, that I don’t need by now, and all functionality was there for the lightboxes. Can’t say which plugin caused the issue. Fot now, I leave all deactivated plugins in their status :wink:
