Envira Gallery - issue, PHP error

Hi guys,

I’m new to X theme, which I recently bought and set up. I had previously installed Envira Gallery Lite and now when it is disabled and deleted I would love to install the full version through X Theme Overview. Unfortunately when I do so, it end up locking up whole website with PHP error, see image, and I have to manually remove envira gallery folder from plugins. Is there a way to fix it? I’m also willing to redo my galleries if I have to remove something from database. Thanks.

Hello There,

Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 5.2.3
  • Cornerstone 2.1.4

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If you are already using the latest version, did you install it manually? Please make sure that all files were valid and correct. There might be corrupted or missing files that may have caused this issue.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi,

thanks for your response. I have already had recent version of X Theme and Cornerstone when this issue occured. But to make sure I have deleted X and reuploaded clean set of files and removed Cornerstone and let it reinstall. It is still there, but I found out that if I ignore that PHP error and just go to my website and admin Envira Gallery is working. But then there is other issue with it asking for license and showing this request on all sites in Wordpress Admin, it is quite annoying and I can’t also install whatever addons that are offered within Envira - but as I’m new to X Theme I do not know if the Envira Gallery is supposed to be full version including Addons.

Thanks.

Hi There,

What’s your PHP version running on your server ? Could you please make sure that you’re running at least PHP v5.6.x or later and see if that helps.

Thanks!

Hi,

I’m running on PHP7 ;).

But as I can see here on forum it seems to be global issue with Cornerstone conflicting with Envira Gallery.

Thanks.

Hi There,

We have identified this conflict and our developers will release a fix for this in the next update.

Thanks!
