Envira Gallery... Is It Me or Is It Just Awful?

I’m trying to do something that was simple in my previous theme…

All I want is…

  1. Three images as thumbnails of the exact same size. (Preferably in a row)
  2. Open in a lightbox.
  3. One of the three has to open in a lightbox as an iframe because it links to google maps for the 3D sphere picture. Or run the 3D sphere picture natively.

What has happened so far? I tried doing it in a grid as images… can’t get them to appear the same size, and no light box. So I went to envira… still can’t get them to appear the same size. And the 3D sphere picture… I get an error that says "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.

And to top it all off, envira won’t add photos that are already loaded, so I have to reupload them a second time…

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do, before I pull all my hair out?

Hello @Ephraim,

Thanks for writing in! You can recreate what you wanted using a section, row, and 3 columns. In each column, you can insert a content area modal element. The content area modal element can display a thumbnail and then a bigger image on the modal popup. It is also capable of displaying a map. If you can give us access to your staging site, we can create an example page for you. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Hello @Ephraim,

Please check the test page now. I have modified it and added 3 content area modal elements. In the Toggle, I used Graphic and inserted the thumbnail images (150x150). If you want to have a bigger image size, you can use a medium-size image.

In the modal content, I have inserted your Google Maps embed code and the high resolution of each respective photo. To know more about the Content Area Modal element, please check this first to be familiar with it:

Kindly check it now.
