Envira Gallery - how to show fewer images in gallery but ALL images in lightbox

Hi there,

I am hoping there is a way to do what I have in mind. My website is quite image-heavy, and my main gallery (showing our work) is getting quite large now. There are about 88 images to date, with more being added regularly. What I would like to do is have only 4-5 main images showing on the webpage (instead of showing all of them), and when you click on any one of these, it opens up the entire gallery in the lightbox, so that viewers can scroll through them one by one in full screen.

For starters, I want to avoid the gallery taking up so much room on the webpage and making the page super long to scroll through… and secondly, I want to show a ‘preview’ only, so that it forces visitors to click into the lightbox and scroll through the gallery one by one. I am also hoping this will increase my page loading time as it doesn’t have to load every single image on the page before the person has even clicked to open the lightbox. I hope this makes sense? I can’t seem to find any information on the forum or on google that explains how to do this, or if it is even possible.

I did a lot of research regarding this and could not find any solution to make this happen. I only found the article below to limit the number of the images:

I am not sure if the method above will also show the lightbox for the rest or not, but it worths a try.

Please consider that if you want to use that method, you will need to avoid using the Envira Gallery Element in the Cornerstone and instead, you need to use the Classic Raw Content element and paste the shortcode of the gallery there.
