Enabling Gzip

Hi I recently enabled gzip from my Cpanel and selected “Compress All Content”. Do I still need to add the Gzip code below to my .htaccess file?

If I do need to add it, which I have tried to do so, it breaks my website after I save the .htaccess file.

Hello Philip,

Thanks for writing in! This request is beyond the scope of our support. It is best that you contact your Hosting Provider. They should be able to answer that question because they are more familiar with your server settings and what is required or where you can enable/disable the GZIP.
