Enable "Show Console" on right-click when editing with Cornerstone

Hello there,

Just updated to the latest release and one feedback I’d like to share right-away is that we can’t pop-up the Console window easily now that the builder supports right-click actions (which is awesome by the way).

Would it be possible to add in this menu the browser console? I often use it to check the HTML markup while building a page.

If it’s not possible, I guess I’ll have to get used to the short CMD+SHIFT+I

Thanks for writing in. Adding the browser console in the menu is great idea, we will keep that in mind during our updates. For the mean time you can use the shortcut that you said CMD+SHIFT+I or you can hold CMD then right-click on the element you want to inspect.

I feel your pain. While incredibly useful, the context menu does override the native browser’s menu making the developer tools harder to access. I wanted to also add that under Preferences (click the gear icon in the bar) you can disable the context menu entirely. I’ll often disable it myself to keep the “Inspect Element” functionality more readily available.

Hi again,

We most likely won’t be adding it as an option to the context menu. This is because we’re overriding the native browser’s context menu action. Once we do that there isn’t a way to accurately trigger it again. It’s still pretty easily accessible by holding cmd like Albrecht suggested, or just turning off the feature entirely in preferences.

Hey @alexander,

No big deal! I’m getting used to CMD+RIGHT-CLICK and it works pretty well.

Makes it quite convenient to switch between the custom context menu and the native context menu.
